The Peloton web application does not display target metrics, like cadance and resistance. This bookmarklet uses the Peloton web application and API to display the target metrics. Metrics appear in cycling, running, walking and rowing classes.

What’s a bookmarklet?

A bookmarklet is a bookmark, but has JavaScript stored as the URL. Accessing the bookmarklet will run code, rather than visiting a new web page.

How to use

  1. Start a class on the Peloton website (not the app).
  2. Open the bookmark.
  3. Metrics are magically displayed!

It works great with the Kinetic Fit app.

How to install

Bookmark a link below, depending on your bike and preferred resistence mapping. Check instructions below on how to bookmark on a mobile device.

iPad

In Safari, open the bookmarks side panel. Drag the Peloton-Schwinn bookmarklet above into your bookmarks.

iPhone

Create a new bookmark (to any website – doesn’t matter). Copy the Peloton-Schwinn link above. Open your bookmarks, find the bookmark you just created, and replace the URL with the link you copied. (Need more help? Google “iphone bookmarklet”).

Safari on a Mac

Click and drag the Peloton-Schwinn link to the bookmarks bar. If you do not see the bookmarks bar, go to the View menu and select “Show Favorites Bar”.

Chromebook

Click and drag the Peloton-Schwinn link to the bookmarks bar. Use Ctrl+Shift+B to reveal the bookmarks bar, if hidden.
